Dream Cruises rolls out new agent training ahead of launch

The launch of Genting Dream in November is highly anticipated by the Asian market. Dream Cruises is the first premium cruise brand which is designed for the Asian market.

Dream Cruises will be rolling out travel agent training over the coming months so sellers will become familiarised with the brand ahead of its launch in Hong Kong. The Genting Dream will have 35 new restaurants and bars as well as the famous Zouk nightclub onboard. The itineraries include shorter and longer cruises departing not just from Hong Kong, but also Sanya in China.

According the line, there has been a lot of interest generated in the line, which is built specifically for the Asian market. The line is encouraging agents to get training around selling the brand. Training includes:

Road shows and company presentations

Dream Cruises will conduct regular road shows and presentations for the travel agents across the region, showcasing details of Genting Dream and her offerings, as well as to address any further enquiries.

Familiarisation Trip 

Dream Cruises will also organize familiarisation cruises onboard Genting Dream for the travel agents on a periodic basis, once the vessel is homeported in Guangzhou (Nansha) in November 2016. In addition, various seminars and familiarization programs will be arranged onboard Genting Dream to ensure all partners can experience Dream Cruises’ product first hand.

Seaware System Training

In addition, Dream Cruises  have adopted a cruise booking system (Seaware) for the use of trade partners to access Dream Cruises’ cabin inventories and obtain confirmation in real time .  Training seminars will be provided to ensure that trade partners have a full understanding of the use of the application.

Online training platform

An online training platform will be developed soon to educate partners of Dream Cruises products, services and itineraries, providing easy access and convenience to the online training program anytime, anywhere. The training platform will be developed in a way to certify our trade partners to become Dream Ambassadors. Upon completion, Dream Ambassadors will receive an official certification, as well as ambassador rewards/incentives thereafter. As the program is still under development, exact details will be shared at a later stage.

Genting Dream which will have the capacity of 3,400 guests. Facilities include 35 restaurant and bar offerings, dedicated Asian nightclubs like Zouk, karaoke clubs and spa facilities for guests on a variety of different itineraries.

There will be a number of itineraries which depart Hong Kong as well as Nansha in China and call at destinations in Vietnam.
