Most larger cruise lines will automatically add gratuities to your onboard account, which is subsequently divided among the dining staff (such as waiters) and housekeeping staff (such as cabin attendants).
You are of course at liberty to tip members of staff personally if you wish to do so for their outstanding service to recognise specific individuals. After all, most cruise employees clock a 7-day work week with over 10 combined hours per day to ensure your cruise holiday is nothing short of perfect.
