It’s the perfect way to spend a short break. And now, it’s extremely affordable.
Cruising is becoming one of the hottest holiday trends to sweep the globe. And it’s not hard to see why.
You can visit exotic and local destinations, sample gourmet cuisine, watch some great stage entertainment and stay in top class accommodation.
There are a number of lines like Star Cruises, Costa Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean which offer short cruises to Malaysia and Thailand for you to able to sample cruise.
Jane Chang from Chan Brothers in Singapore said these cruisers are great for couples or intergenerational families who are looking for an affordable holiday, with everything included.
“Regional cruise holidays can be as affordable as under five hundred dollars, making it a pretty attractive holiday option for first time cruisers. The many advantages of cruise vacations, such as exploring multiple regional destinations in a fuss-free manner, mitigation of messy transfers in between journeys, comfortable and luxurious accommodation and dining arrangement and exciting onboard entertainment options amongst other factors appeal to prospective travellers,” she said.
“Generally, most cruise lines hope to appeal to a wider spectrum of travellers. We work closely with our cruise operators to offer thematic cruising appealing to differing demographics. Previous thematic cruises include Muslim cruises, Mother’s or Father’s Day cruises, Vow renewal cruises and Educational cruises among other themes.”
Eric Tan from Cruise1st in Singapore said that it’s a great way to try new and innovative activities onboard, which the cruise lines are developing and bringing to the passengers.
“It’s good to have a getaway especially on those sailing which leaves on Friday and return on Monday. You save time and cruising doesn’t require you to take too much leave, Monday usually can still be in time back to work,” he said.
“On Royal Caribbean cruises, you get to enjoy Ice Skating, Performance, Food and Dreamwork characters. Cruises are a great family gathering where guests can choose to do what they want individually in day time then in evening, gather as a family to dine together.”
