Dream Cruises, the first local luxury line scheduled to launch in November,  has announced its summer 2017 itinerary heading to Japan for a five-night cruise.

The Genting Dream  will cruise the region until April, 2017, when she will depart weekly on Sundays from Guangzhou. Guests will get to explore the ship for two nights before arriving in Naha, the capital of Okinawa.

Onboard will be 35 different restaurants, bars and cafes serving the best Chinese regional, Asian and international cuisine, the Dream Mansion, an exclusive area for the ship’s VIP guests as well as fantastic spa facilities, duty-free retail as well as a waterslide park with six thrilling slides.

Guests will also get the chance to book an excursion in an underwater submersible, try a ropes course or test your climbing skills at the rock climbing wall.

Some of the highlights of the Japanese itinerary include the local cuisine, arts and crafts and a chance to visit the Shuri-jō, a beautifully restored castle that was once the home of Ryūkyū royalty.

After a day of exploration, the ship will then sail to the Miyakojima in Okinawa which is famous for its white sand beaches and clear pristine waters.

“We are delighted to introduce Genting Dream’s first Summer schedule featuring Japan, which continues to grow rapidly in popularity as a cruise destination,” said Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises.

“We listened to our travel partners and our prospective guests; Japan was a top destination request with its distinctive natural environments, cultural offerings and reputation for quality cruise excursion products. We look forward to supporting our travel partners and welcoming their clients on board Genting Dream for the upcoming 2017 summer season.”
