Royal Caribbean, one of Asia’s largest cruise brands will be sending Ovation of the Seas to call at South Korea’s second largest city, Busan.
The ship, which has been a hit among Asian cruisers, will be calling at the popular Korean holiday spot.
She’ll be calling at Busan on June 30, 2017 and she is the second ship of this size to be deployed to Asia. In 2014, Royal Caribbean decided to homeport Quantum of the Seas in Shanghai.
“In accordance with the growing demand of cruises, we will carry out facility reinforcement at Youngdo Int’l Cruise Terminal this year and plan to develop berth facilities that can accommodate the world’s largest cruise ship by 2018. We are also working with related organizations to simplify entry procedures for passengers,” said BPA Port Operation Division director NAM Ki-kawn.
Ovation of the Seas has amazing rides and attractions including 18 restaurants, bars and clubs, the FlowRider a surf simulator, the North Star, the iFly and much more.
South Korea has grown in popularity among Southeast Asians as a holiday destination. There is a great array of food, fashion and amazing historical and cultural sites.
