The food delivery service on the Royal Caribbean app has finally moved into the trial phase and guests on Symphony of the Seas will be the first to road test it.

The service,  found in the “Bring Me” feature of the app, means guests are able to order food and have it delivered to their room or elsewhere on the ship.

Cruisers can order pizza from Sorrento’s, burgers and hot dogs from Johnny Rockets, chicken fingers from Playmakers and sushi from Izumi and have it delivered to them. Drinks like Evian bottled water and sodas like Coke is also available.

The service is offered at extra cost, even for restaurants like Sorrento’s which is usually an included venue. Pizza from Sorrento’s is priced at US$5.95. The Original burger from Johnny Rockets cost $9.95 and the Chili Dog is $2.95. The sushi is the most expensive, costing $12.95 to $17.95 depending on which rolls you want.

There are some areas excluded like pools, waterslide lines, theatres and other restaurants. But otherwise you just drag and drop a pin on the map to indicate your location and the crew will bring your order to you.

The Symphony of the Seas is currently sailing seven-day itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
