“It’s a game changer”
Thatcher Brown and the Dream Cruises team are launching not only the leading product in Asia – but also one of the most advanced and progressive ships in the world.
The experience starts before you step on-board with the amazing hull art piece created by Chinese pop-artist Jacky Tsai.
This is a ship that appears to cater for everyone from the seasoned cruiser to the family looking for an adventure together – there are over 100 connecting rooms.
More than 70% of the staterooms contain private balconies – and for the ultimate experience, there is the “Dream Mansion”, a ‘ship within a ship’.
Dream Mansion features two floors of lavish suites with European-style butler service and special guest experiences.
Dream Cruises has clearly tapped the knowledge of the recently acquired Crystal Cruises in creating a number of these amazing on-board experiences.
Foodies will be in heaven with 35 restaurant and bar concepts. An innovative wraparound promenade will allow for amazing sea-side dining where the inside of the ship meets the outside.
The whiskey bar promises one of the largest collections of single malts seen anywhere in the world. Enjoy your Cuban cigar in the cigar bar, whilst learning the art of cigar making and combine this with a salsa lesson.
But what about fun?
I would be doing Genting Dream a dis-service if I didn’t start with two submersibles. Each submersible carries 4 guests and a pilot, what a dream experience!
The fun continues with six waterslides, rock climbing, kids water park, a ropes course as well as a heart pounding zip line this is over the side of the ship some 18-stories high!
At night the world famous Zouk nightclub comes to life both inside the ship and outside with an amazing outdoor party venue with shallow pool dance floor.
Now add a fireworks display in the middle of ocean.
The on-board entertainment extends from the likes of the Zodiac Theatre – fantastic tribute bands – or Silk Road, which transforms from a world class restaurant to a late night cabaret club.
On the wellness front, Genting Dream will cater for all guests with both Asian and Western Spa facilities.
Kids are catered for in the Little Pandas Club. Genting plans on hiring qualified staff in the area of child development to create enrichment and learning experiences along with traditional play.
The ship has huge guest rooms, amazing on-board facilities, a guest to crew ratio of 1.7 (basically 1 crew member to every 1.7 passengers) .
Genting Hong Kong is the only true Asian Cruise brand, and with over 25 years’ experience in the region their newest ship will be a worthy opponent to take on the major Western brands.
